This infrastructure, located in the Valle del Cauca, connects the cities of Buenaventura, Loboguerrero, and Buga.
With an investment of 800 million euros, it improves connectivity within the country’s interior, reduces travel times, enhances road safety, and benefits local communities by generating employment.
It has a total length of 128 km, with a dual-carriageway corridor along 118 km. Maintenance operations cover a total of 244 km.
Among other works, the construction of two short tunnels totaling approximately 1.4 km will be carried out, as well as the operation and upgrading of the 17 existing tunnels, with a consolidated length of 9.3 km.
To contribute to the improvement of environmental standards, Opacimeters, Ultrasonic Anemometers, Luminance Meters, and Lux Meters have been selected, distributed by Durán Electrónica, along with DURTOX detectors (4–20 mA) for CO and NO₂ detection, designed and manufactured by Durán Electrónica.
