December 2021. Detection of toxic gases CO and NO2, opacimeters, anemometers, weather station, luminance meters and lux meters.
The Pamplona-Cúcuta project is considered the most important road project in Norte de Santander with an investment of 1.85 billion dollars. The Pamplona tunnel is part of section 1 of the project. It is a bidirectional work with a length of 1,400 meters and an emergency gallery of 924 meters. It allows travel times to be reduced by 35 minutes for light vehicles and 20 for cargo vehicles. It is designed with modern specifications with a road width of 8.3 meters each lane and a fixed cement coating of 30 cm. Equipped with surveillance cameras, longitudinal ventilation system for fire detection and extinction, messaging panels, lighting, public address and speed monitoring.
This modern road infrastructure will favor economic development for the region.
The detection of toxic gases is carried out with the DURTOX 4-20mA CO and NO2 detectors manufactured by Durán Electrónica and for environmental control opacimeters, anemometers, luminance meters, lux meters and a weather station distributed by Durán Electrónica have been installed.
