DURTOX RS485 Detectors for Toxic Gases
Detectors using electrochemical technology for the detection of toxic gases and oxygen.

They are available with two types of housing:

DURTOX – plastic housing IP65

Available for the following gases: CO, H2, NO, O2, O3, Cl2, CH2O, H2S, HCl, NH3, NO2 and SO2. In RS485 format, addressable with 4-wire connection, compatible with DURGAS and EUROSONDELCO control panel, up to 16 detectors can be installed in parallel in the same loop.
A version is available with a local relay output.

DURTOX-X – ATEX exproof housing (LOM 10ATEX2076 certif.)

For use in explosive gas atmospheres and with a high level of protection. There is a version of the detector available, also ATEX certified, with a high level of protection and destined for use in explosive dust atmospheres.

Available for detection of the following gases: CO, H2, NO, O2, Cl2, CH2O, H2S, HCl, NH3, NO2 and SO2.

In RS485 format for centralized systems, addressable with 4-wire connection, compatible with DURGAS and EUROSONDELCO control panel, up to 16 detectors can be installed in parallel in the same loop. In this format there is a version available with a local relay alarm output (4-20mA version available. See DURTOX 4-20mA in 4-20mA DETECTORS).

Both DURTOX and DURTOX-X are provided with a 12bit microprocessor that allows total control over sensor status and electronics. It also provides thermal compensation that allows a correct response from each of the electrochemical sensors when faced with temperature variations, except for O2 that due to its different behaviour does not require such a feature.

Also included: self-testing hardware, digital filter based on variable samplings of the sensors average values and auto-zero automatic exact adjustment.
