June 2012. CO detection in a new department of the Hospitalet de Llobregat hospital
In Hospitalet de Llobregat a new teaching building has been inaugurated next to the Esplugues de Llobregat Women’s and Children’s Hospital (Baix Llobregat), with an investment of 41 million euros.
This building includes teaching rooms for the Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology medical specialties of the University of Barcelona.
The teaching building occupies 18,000m2, 9,000 of which are used as parking space, 8,000 for teaching and 1,000 are currently unoccupied, waiting to be assigned for investigation projects.
The underground car park is protected by the Eurosondelco toxic and explosive gas detection and measuring system and Eurosonda CO carbon monoxide detectors, all designed and manufactured by DURAN ELECTRONICA.
