March 2013. CO, Oxygen and Explosive gas detection in underground car park
In the city of Varazdin, in northwest Croatia, a public car park has been inaugurated as part of the renovation project of Kapucinskom Square.
The garage has two levels and includes 446 parking spaces, three stairways for entry and exit, two elevators, restrooms, modern ventilation systems, gas detection and fire extinction equipment, traffic management and more. It is unique in Croatia, as it has six batteries for electrical vehicles.Construction, which meant an investment of 60 million Kunas – approximately 8 million € – has taken two years to complete.
The car park has been protected with the SIEMENS CC62P toxic and explosive gas detection system, supplied by SIEMENS throughout the world and designed and manufactured by DURAN ELECTRONICA. It includes carbon monoxide CO, explosive gases and lack of oxygen gas detection.
