SENTRY OPACIMETER
SENTRY is an electro-optical sensor whose function is to measure opacity in the air through the existing particles (suspended particles, gas emissions, etc.).
It uses the forward scatter principle, capturing a sample of light at an angle of 42º. The amplitude of this angle allows detection of particles of great size.
The advantages of SENTRY when compared to other opacimeters are:
Does not need to be calibrated on installation
External vibrations do not affect the calibration of the sensor
It uses a forward scatter principle, when compared to other opacimeters that use less effective technologies like back scatter
