August 2018. CO and NO2 detection, cup and vane anemometers, vane anemometers and opacimeters.
The construction of the Camelinas de Morelia branch continues, following all international security standards. It is executed with a federal investment of 670 million pesos and has created 400 direct and 1,200 indirect jobs.
It includes two tunnels and a bridge. Tunnel one is located at the connection with “Circuito Montaña Monarca” avenue and ends at the “Baltazar Echave” avenue. The second tunnel, 700 meters long and located in the Ocolusen area, will have its access point in the Mil Cumbres exit.
Although up to the moment only mechanical means had been used for the excavation work, it has been necessary to resort to explosives when the strata made up of high-resistance andesite rock have been reached. This work has all the necessary permits, and there is constant monitoring in the area of influence of the works through the installation of seismographs for the measuring of vibration levels generated in the area, as well as measurements from inclinometers.
For the detection of carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide gas in the tunnel, DURTOX detectors, manufactured by DURÁN ELECTRÓNICA, have been selected. Air quality control is carried out with anemometers and opacimeters distributed by DURÁN ELECTRÓNICA.
