August 2011. Toxic gas detection in Madrid.
The Institute of Refrigeration, which belongs to the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) is situated in the Madrid University Campus. It was created in 1951 with the name Experimental Center of Refrigeration to answer the research needs of various sectors of the Spanish refrigeration industry.
Gradually throughout the last thirty years it has extended its field of research to include food science and technology. The Institute of Refrigeration is recognized by its clients as a reference center that centers its efforts in continuous improvement towards achieving high levels of quality and excellence in its management activities, investigation projects and services that constitute its mission as a CSIC investigation center.
Its premises are protected by the EUROSONDELCO gas measuring and detection system, including toxic gas detectors for oxygen (O2), sulfur dioxide (SO2) and carbon monoxide (CO). All products have been manufactured and designed by DURAN ELECTRONICA.
